Toli Ekadashi is a particularly providential day for Lord Vishnu. The meaning of this formal procedure is that this is the time when the sun begins moving to the South Pole, and nature begins to go inward (summer’s wilting follows spring’s blossoming). Toli Ekadashi falls in the stage of new moon day to full moon day. According to Western calendar, it occurs June or July, near the summer end.The Toli Ekadashi is first festival for south Indians. In this Toli Ekadashi lord Vishnu goes to sleep.
